Description
Glazed stoneware rather than wood fired, so the color is consistent top to bottom instead of shifting with the flame. It is narrower than most amphoras this tall, which keeps it from looking heavy in a corner or by a doorway. The handles are functional, sized for lifting it once it is filled. It really is that size.
Care
Dishwasher safe. Give large or fragile pieces a hand wash, and keep anything with gold luster out of the microwave and the dishwasher — the gold is real metal. Pit-fired pieces are not for food.
