A branch, a few stems of grass, something with height to it. Wood fired means days in a wood burning kiln where ash and flame marked the surface as they traveled, which is why the color shifts across it the way a glaze never would. It's built for a real stem rather than a single bud. The flame decided where the ash landed on this one, and that decision cannot be repeated.
Care
Dishwasher safe. Give large or fragile pieces a hand wash, and keep anything with gold luster out of the microwave and the dishwasher — the gold is real metal. Pit-fired pieces are not for food.
