This one is closer to an orb than a vessel, and it holds its shape on a shelf whether or not there is anything in it. Wood fired, so the surface color is ash and flame moving through the kiln and marking it as they went, not something applied evenly with a brush. The opening is narrow, made for a single stem rather than a bunch. It sits well in one hand. The kiln only makes this shape once.
Care
Dishwasher safe. Give large or fragile pieces a hand wash, and keep anything with gold luster out of the microwave and the dishwasher — the gold is real metal. Pit-fired pieces are not for food.
